The beach in Gąski

In Gąski there is a beautiful, clean and, above all, wide beach. Gąski – a small holiday resort, situated on the Baltic coast, surrounded by fields, with a forest in the west, in the Mielno commune. The first mentions of the village come from the first half of the 17th century. The biggest attraction of the village of Gąski is a fairly wide, sandy seaside beach, finished with a strip of dunes, picturesquely overgrown with vegetation. There are many descents to the beach – some sandy, others with low stairs.

Lighthouse in Gąski

The lighthouse is located between the Kołobrzeg lighthouse (about 22 km to the west) and the Darłowo lighthouse (about 40 km to the east). The lighthouse was built in 1876-78. Under the dome in the lighthouse, a Fresnel kerosene apparatus was originally placed. According to documentation from 1927, optics powered by electricity and a shutter device were installed in the lantern house, regulated by a pendulum clock mechanism to maintain the light characteristics. It was reactivated after World War II, in 1948. Currently, a ring-drum lens with a 1500 W bulb is placed in the lighthouse. It is the third largest lighthouse on the Polish coast.

Sea Palace

The Sea Palace is a historic, neoclassical building from the second half of the 19th century. 19th century in Gąski. Park Morski is surrounded by a historic (area of ​​approx. 6.7 ha) park with, among others, beeches, pea cypresses and silver maples. It’s worth coming and seeing how beautiful I look live. It is an ideal place for a commemorative photo and a quiet walk.
